The Bull Run Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America is proud to present the 48th Edgar Rohr Memorial Car Meet – a family and pet-friendly charity car show benefitting our military veterans and their families. $5.00 from each entry fee goes directly to Fisher House in conjunction with our partner, Cruisin’ For Heroes. All collector vehicles, including street rods, modified, and trucks are invited. The entry fee is $25.00 per car for pre-registration and $30.00 the day of the show.
Over 50 trophies will be awarded, including the Top 35 as selected by the registered show participants, 16 Best of Show judged categories, and 8 special awards.
Registration is from 8 am to 11 am, and the show officially kicks off with the presentation of colors by the Boy Scouts Troop 670 at 11 am followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. We have a special performer with us again this year, Liana Cruz, a Patriot High School tenth grader who will be performing the Star-Spangled Banner. Liana has an amazing voice, and we are very excited to once again showcase her talents.
The show is located at the Manasseh Masonic Lodge 182 at 9810 Cockrell Road, less than one mile from downtown Manassas. The show field is almost five acres of hard-packed grass with approximately 25-30 paved spots which are available on a first-come basis.
Our friends from American Legion Post 10 will have a recruitment booth set up along with their 1954 Willys Jeep. The Freedom Museum will also be in attendance with their B25 bomber fuselage. In addition, the Manassas Volunteer Fire Company and Greater Manassas Volunteer Rescue Squad will be on site handing out plastic fire helmets to the kids.
The Model T Ford Club will once again have their popular Model T Ford disassembly and reassembly demonstration. If you haven’t seen this before, you are in for a treat.
Last year we had close to 150 cars in attendance, and we’re hoping to see more this year.
Free trailer parking is available at Manassas American Legion, 9950 Cockrell Road (1/8 mile from show field)
On-site food and beverage sales provided by the Masons including hot dogs, mac and cheese, chips, water, and soda.
The show goes off rain or shine.
