This event takes place in Damascus, Maryland. It includes a parade and fireworks. The parade is scheduled for Friday, July 12, 2024

The parade begins at 7:00 but if you wish to participate, please arrive at least by 6:30. The meeting place is at the parking lot at Damascus High School – the corner of Ridge Road and Bethesda Church Road. You will not be able to park there, but there is parking in the shopping center across from the HS, Damascus Elementary School cattycorner to the HS and along Bethesda Church Road.
It is very difficult to get to Damascus by Rt 124 (Woodfield Road) or Rt 27 ((Ridge Road) coming from 270 on the night of the parade. Those roads close for the parade at 5:00 and they have rush hour traffic which backs up for quite a way. Coming all the way up Rt 108 from Olney into Damascus or New Hampshire which comes into 108 is a better way to go. There is a Pizza Place and Chinese Restaurant across the street from the HS.

The parade ends at the end of Lewis Drive where there will be fireworks.
